Donate food

Our food bank relies on your goodwill and support. We have giving bins in the entrance of most of our local supermarkets. An extra tin of something in your trolley make not make much difference to you, but it makes a huge one to us. Thank you to everyone for everything donated..

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public, that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

As time goes on, we sometimes find it more and more difficult to keep our warehouse stocked, so every single donation no matter how small is important to both us and our clients.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items we need right now, others are what we are low on stock.

If you are happy to drop off food donations at any of our donation points, please see the table below for our local food collection point locations:

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis.

Very occasionally we may send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
