We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of people this Christmas, giving through permanent collection points, schools, churches, company food drives and so on.

We are now at a stage where our warehouse floor is full and if we take more in it will become unsafe for our volunteers to work in. So if you have not already arranged to drop off your donation we would ask you to kindly store it until the New Year. We have taken in quite a lot of food into the church but are rapidly outgrowing our space there and with events happening can’t just keep expanding it.
We have also closed our permanent collection points at Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury, although Tesco will store donations purchased in store for us until the New Year.
Wednesday was exceptionally busy at our Crosby centre with 27 family units catered for, we are expecting similar numbers today at Scunthorpe and will be open for the last time before Christmas on Friday at Westcliff. Well done to the Crosby team, what an extraordinary effort.
