A huge thank you to our volunteers who have braved the weather this week to ensure our services were not unduly disrupted.
It’s been a terrible week of dreadful weather and we were very concerned we’d not be able to access the food from our warehouse or that volunteers would be able to get in to the distribution centres.
As usual a massive effort was made.
- To Mick and Joan for warehousing and delivery to centre on Wednesday.
- To Martyn from St George’s who braved the cold to ensure stocks were delivered
- To the amazing St George’s Crosby team who served soup as well as a good number of food parcels on Wednesday
- To Angie, Julie, Mick and Bob for ensuring our Thursday session ran – and fed 10 clients
- To Paul, Sue and Leigh who were in at Westcliff today
